About Ramsey Interferometry

Ramsey fringes are created by applying two π/2 pulses separated by a variable delay. The resulting interference pattern reveals the qubit's frequency detuning from the drive frequency and its dephasing time T2*. The oscillation frequency gives you the detuning, while the exponential decay envelope characterizes coherence loss due to both reversible and irreversible processes.
